My mums B-day!!!!!!

Hi Everyone
Today is my mum's B-day so I thought I would catch up on my blog and tell u a bit about what I bought her, what shops I shopped in etc.

I started my shopping in Fenwick, Brent Cross. You may think this sounds peculiar but there was somewhere special I wanted to go. Thomas Sabo, some of u might know what this is and some of u may not. So for the people that don't, Thomas Sabo is a brand of jewellery that sells a range of necklaces, bracelets, earings, watches and also a range of beauty. I finally decieded on a long silver necklace, a plain silver charm carrier and a beautiful red rose as the charm.

Next I went to Accessorize, which is one of my FAV shops!!!!! I looked around and then my eye caught something. I had spotted some jewellery hanging in the corner. It was Accessorizes' own make, they had brought out their on range of bracelets and charms!!!! I carefully picked the two nicest ones, a sparkly silver heart and a yellow silver camper van with pink roses and peace signs on it. You might be thinking why I've just bought two charms and nothing else. Well this is because I thought it would be nice to try and hang them with the rose from Thomas Sabo.

Finally I got to my last shop, John Lewis. I only had twenty mins left till it was time to leave. Quickly I ran to the perfumes. I sniffed some of them including: Preppy Princess (Vera Wang), Princess (Vera Wang) and about 5 more. They all smelt great and I LOVED the packaging especially Preppy Princess!!! I made up my mind to look at something else. After wondering about for a bit I came to just the thing. Cath Kidston, as before u may not know what this is. Cath Kidston is a designer of fabrics and home bits and bobs. Her shops sell a range of things including: clothes, bags and loads more. But in this department they were selling toiletries, so as u might have guested I bought something to do with toiletries. A set of smelling shower gel and hand cream and a bluebell lip balm.

I finished all of my shopping and today came and I gave my mum her presents and of course she loved them!!!!

Valentines!!!!!!!!!

Hi everybody
Today is Valentine's day and as you might have guessed I am going to do a blog on Valentines.
When I woke up this morning I found two cards and one present in a bag............Who could they be from? I opened the first card and, of course, I knew who it was from straight away. My mum, of course, I know her handwriting any where. I opened the second one, no idea who sent it. Now on to the present. I tore the paper open and there was a chocalote teddy bear.  On its tummy it said "Happy Valentines day Lily". I couldn't belive it actually said MY name, it was so cute!!!!!!! After that I remembered my sister and I had bought our mum a bracelet from Accessorize. It was a lovely pearl bracelet with a dangling silver heart, which she loved. My dad and my brother also bought my mum a present.
Here are some pictures of my favourite heart jewellery from Accessorize:

Harajuku Lovers

Gwen Stefani
Today I was feeling a lot better so I decided to go back to school. I was so glad to be back!!! When I walked into the class all my friends started to run towards the door and shout 'Lily Lily'. It was nice to see all my friends again!!!! More school work, more homework... and.....having to go outside into the freezing cold for break.

This post is about Gwen Stefani Harajuku Lovers. They started off as a fabulous range of perfumes. Slowly they made differrent things with them. There are different characters each with their own style and scent - G, Baby, Lil Angel, Music, Love. The Harajuku Lovers became a popular and original design loved by all ages.

I have collected them and I have now got 3. They are all 'G'. My sister has also got 3 - they are 'Love'. For my mum's birthday I bought her 'Baby'. We all have them out on our dressing tables and they are loved by all of our friends.

Here are some pictures....

Ice watch VS Toy watch

Ice watch
£85.00

VS

Toy watch
£124.99

Not well enough to go back to school. Nearly there. I want to be back at school tomorrow. Until then, a bit more catch up on my blog!

Ice watch  VS  Toy watch. As you might have guessed I am going to talk just a little bit about the Ice watch and the Toy watch. Now you might be wondering why I have put VS (standing for versus), well that is because so many people are mad about Toy watch, well I think an Ice watch is just as good!A Toy watch is more expensive than a Ice watch and one of the latest brands, but it doesn't matter what is in fashion or what other people say, you should always go with what you like BEST!

Sekonda watch
Partytime
£24.99
Ice watch and Toy watch are both very expensive. There are other watches which are not so expensive, like a Sekonda Partytime watch.  I think it is just as beautiful. I have a pink Sekonda watch, which I love and I wear for school everyday. I also have a wonderful Ice watch (like in the picture above) and I am very lucky to have one!!!!!!!!!

My visit to Camden!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well some of you may know I live in London, which is absolutely great,  because I get to go on trips with my family to Camden market and have a great time. It gave me a great opportunity to find interesting things and like I usually do, I did!!! I am going to show you some of my finds as a catch-up on my blog. I know I will enjoy telling you.

Right let's start. As you can see above is a picture of meeeee!!!!!!!!! I am in a fabulous shop called
Cyberdog in Camden. It is a huge night club style shop over three floors. It's dark with ultra violet lights (it makes all the neon clothes look flourescent). There was also a DJ and two cage dancers.

As you walk in to Cyberdog there is loud music and lots of robot statues. As you go down the escalators there is a range of flourescent accessories and clothing (as you can see from the pictures there is also a range of kids clothing). The accessories include headphones, jewellery, make-up and hair strips.

On the entrance to the third floor it says 'no under 18s' and I think they should change the name of the third floor from Cyberdog to CyberDODGE!

We were wandering around the market once more and all we could hear was the excitement of people chattering from all different directions, it was CHAOS!!!!!There were adults and children from many places all talking differrent languages. I nearly tripped over once or twice!!!!!!!! I could smell the HORRID smoke from cigarettes, poluting the planet and the smell of fresh kebabs being eaten as quickly as can be.

This is one of the bits of jewellery that I bought. I also bought one for a friend's birthday and her Auntie said 'oh, where did you get this from, I want one for my daughter!'

BLUES!!! BLUES!! BLUES!!!!

THESE ARE SOME OF MY
FAVOURITE
BLUE OUTFITS AND
ACCESSORIES!!!!!!!

Hi Everybody
Catwalkkitty is back with my fabulous BLUES BLUES  BLUES!!!!!!
As you might have guessed I am going to show you some of my favourite blue outfits and accessories!!!!
Some of may know I haven't been on my blog for a while and I am very excited to be back!!!!!!

I have been ill (running a temperature) and off school for a few days so I thought it would be nice to spend my time writing about one of my favourite colours.

Right let's get started. As you can see, above is a beautiful collage that I have made with Vogue's wonderful pictures and  headlines (well I think so). 'Do-it-all denim' and 'a sea of blue' (those are the headlines).I would just like to mention, that if you can see in the top left hand corner, is a slightly larger picture of a wonderful denim dress by Stella McCartney. When I first cut out this beautiful dress, it had a slightly, mmmh let's say plain face. But as you can see I have also cut out a rather bright and bold face, which I think is just the thing to brighten up this lovely frock and turn it into something special. You can wear it in the summer sun or even in the winter's frost with a top underneath and some lovely warm UGG boots to warm up your feet. You can dress it up or dress it down, cold or hot, winter or summer, denim is a favourite of mine for all seasons.

The History of Denim
In the 18th Century workers wore jean cloth because the material was very strong and did not wear out easily. In the 19th Century, in California, the gold miners wanted cloths that were strong and did not tear easily so they wore denim.

In 1853 Leob Strauss started a wholesale business, supplying to clothes. Strauss later changed his name from Leob to Levi. Levi Strauss Jeans!!

1960 - 70s - Different styles of jeans were made to match the 60s fashions:
embroidered jeans, painted jeans, psychedelic jeans.

1980s - jeans became high fashion clothing, when famous designers started making their own styles of jeans, with their own labels on them.

Why is Denim Blue?
Long ago there were no man-made dyes. There were only natural dyes. Out of all of the natural dyes, the most long lasting and dark dye was Indigo Blue. Traditionally, the people who wore jeans for working needed them to be very hard wearing - that is why Indigo Blue was chosen as the dye for denim.

Christian Dior's thoughts on blue:
Christian Dior says "Pale blue is one of the prettiest colours, and if you have blue eyes no colour is more becoming. Be careful when you are selecting a blue to see it both in daylight and electric light, because it changes very much."
